EAGLE PASS, Texas – Eagle Pass Fire Department Company C rescued a kitten trapped inside a storm drain, according to a Nov. 1 post from the department.
Firefighters responded to a call for the kitten and, with patience and teamwork, pulled the animal out safe and sound, the department said.
“We know not every call is a massive fire or a high-speed rescue. Sometimes, it’s just a tiny life that needs a helping hand. And we are always happy to answer the call,” the Eagle Pass Fire Department wrote.
The department thanked its crew for the rescue and shared photos of firefighters holding the kitten after it was brought out of the drain.
