Possible Suicide of Young Man Under Investigation
A 25-year-old man was found dead in the bathroom of a residence on Second Street early Wednesday morning. According to police spokesman Humberto Garza, the discovery was made by the man’s relatives at around 2 a.m. when they entered the room.
Sources from the fire department reported that paramedics were called to the scene, but only confirmed the man’s death. A justice of the peace certified the death and ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause.
Police have taken on the case for investigation and at this time, the reasons why the young man decided to hang himself, if indeed it is established as suicide, are unknown. This city has seen 4 suicides this year, where the victims used different methods to achieve their objectives.
