Shooting at Mall de las Aguilas Involves Off-Duty DPS Trooper and Civilian

EAGLE PASS, TX — Local and state authorities are investigating a Friday afternoon shooting outside Burlington at Mall de las Aguilas that left two men injured, including an off-duty Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper. The incident occurred just after 3pm and quickly drew a heavy law enforcement response.
