The Maverick County Food Pantry, managed by Gerardo Perez, works closely with the South Texas Food Bank to provide essential food items to local families. Over the past two years, the food pantry has significantly increased its distributions, a result of the county’s prioritization of reducing hunger across Maverick County.
Prioritizing the Fight Against Hunger
County leadership has placed a strong focus on ensuring that families have access to the resources they need. The expansion of the food pantry’s services reflects this commitment.
