The City of Eagle Pass has issued an important reminder to residents following the recent rainfall that caused an increase in the growth of vegetation across the area. While the rains were much needed, they have led to an overgrowth of plants, shrubs, and landscaping on many properties within city limits.

Eagle Pass Police Department (EPPD) Code Enforcement Officers are currently monitoring properties closely and will soon start issuing compliance notices to property owners and caretakers who are found in violation of city ordinances. The city emphasizes that maintaining yards and lots is essential to avoid potential penalties or fines.
