In a significant encounter near Eagle Pass today, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) detained a special interest migrant from Iran, identified as Masoumeh Fooladlou. She was among the 124 individuals encountered by DPS just outside the city. Fooladlou carried two passports—one from Iran and another from Brazil—raising immediate concern among the authorities.

Lt. Olivarez of Texas DPS stated that Fooladlou was turned over to intelligence specialists for further vetting due to her status as a foreign subject of interest.
