This is the second censure we have seen from a county in Texas. We first noticed that Congressman Tony Gonzales was censured by the Media County Republican Party. Now we stumbled on to the censure of Senator John Cornyn. Harris County Republican Party invoked Rule 44 and cite seven core principles that Senator Cornyn voted in opposition of according to Harrison County Republican Party. See the resolution below:
