CONGRESSWOMAN MAYRA FLORES ELECTED TO AGRICULTURE AND HOMELAND SECURITY COMMITTEES
Recently sworn in Texas CD34 Congresswoman Mayra Flores (R-Texas) was elected for two U.S. House of Representatives Committees on Wednesday. Flores was elected to the Agriculture and Homeland Security Committees respectively. Flores won the Texas 34th Congressional District in a Special Election, the district is known for being a Democratic stronghold. The Congresswoman will serve the vacant term until the end of the year but will be on the campaign to win full term in Congress come November.
