The final item during the open session of the Maverick County Commissioners Court Agenda to discuss the update report by the County Auditor on the Amphitheatre Project located at the Maverick County Lake. The amphitheatre project was expected to be completed at the end of last year but a few change orders approved by commissioners court have kept the completion date unknown. It is uncertain what the amphitheatre will ultimately costs the taxpayers once completed but construction contractors we spoke with estimated the final cost of the project over $3,500,000.
