Police Investigating Death of Man Found in Storm Drain
Del Rio Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a storm drain on Saturday.
The man was discovered by a passerby who called 911 after seeing the body in the storm drain at the intersection of Andrade and Rubio streets.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and removed the man’s body from the storm drain. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 Jesse James Treviño.
Police have not yet released the man’s identity, as he was found completely nude and not carrying any type of identification.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause and manner of death.
