Two Men Arrested for Smuggling Illegal Immigrants in Texas
Two men were arrested in Crystal City, Texas on August 31, 2023 for smuggling illegal immigrants.
The men, Mark Lavelle Pace and Charles Fellors, were pulled over by a Zavala County Deputy for a traffic violation on US Highway 83. During the stop, the deputy noticed two male subjects attempting to conceal themselves in the rear area of the vehicle with clothes.

The two male subjects were later identified as citizens from the Republic of Mexico and were presently in the United States illegally. Pace and Fellors both admitted to picking up the undocumented aliens on Highway 277 on the side of the road in Eagle Pass, Texas. They also admitted to getting paid for smuggling the two undocumented aliens.
Pace and Fellors were both transported to the Zavala County Jail. The two undocumented aliens were turned over to Carrizo Springs Border Patrol. The vehicle was released to Tavo’s Wrecker Service.
