Timothy Japhet is an Attorney from the Corpus Christi area visiting the border for the casino located in Eagle Pass, Texas. According to KIIITV, Japhet said he was headed to the casino in Eagle Pass when he pulled over in Kinney County so that his dog could relieve himself. He continues saying he was approached by a two hitchhikers and that he agreed to help them with a ride. Japhet claimed that two turned into four hitchhikers and before he knew it, he felt uncomfortable in the situation he got himself in.
Eventually he was pulled over by Texas Department of Public Safety DPS officers, where he was arrested and his vehicle was towed. Now back in Corpus Christi he says that he has not been indicted and thinks he will never according to sources.
