Earlier this week a woman was shot and murdered in Cienegas Terrace. Investigators from the Val Verde Sheriff’s Office are asking for the assistance from the public on any information about the murder of 48 year old Mirosalva Martinez. According to 830Times, Val Verde Sheriff’s and Investigators have requested the help of the public and encourage them to come forward if they have any additional information. The Sheriff Joe Frank Martinez assured that the Sheriffs Office is working hard and following multiple leads on the murder.
The 830 Times reported that on Monday morning at 8:37AM the Val Verde Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to shots fired in Fir Street west of Del Rio city limits. Martinez was given first aid but later died in the hospital.
