COUNTY ANNOUNCES PUBLIC HEARING FOR 2022 COLONIA CONSTRUCTION GRANT
Maverick County announced a public hearing for 2022 Colonia Construction Grant Program. The county will be holding the public meeting as a procedural requirement under the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture. The posting explains the purpose of the public hearing is to allow residents an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, the development of local housing and community development funds, the amount of TxCDBG funding available, all eligible TxCDBG activities, all fund categories of assistance under this program and the use of previous TxCDBG funding.
The 2022 Colonia Construction Fund Application will be discussed it is STRONGLY encouraged that people residing in colonia areas attend the public hearing to have input on funding used.
