Republican Candidate for Governor of Michigan Ryan Kelley was arrested by the FBI this morning in Western Michigan. According to APNEWS, an FBI spokeswoman declined to comment but mentioned that court documents would be unsealed soon.
Kelley was in attendance at the January 6, 2021 “riot” at the Capitol but at this time it is unsure if the arrest stems from that. He is one of five candidates that is on the ballot for the August 2022 Republican Primary for Governor or Michigan.
