The Maverick Times News has obtained the highest paid salaries for employees of the Eagle Pass Independent School District through a Texas Public Information Act request. The school district was the first to respond to our request without any issues. Similar requests were submitted to Maverick County, City of Eagle Pass and the Maverick County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1.
Maverick County has not complied with our requests and the Maverick County Water Control & Improvement District No. 1 responded but requested we submit the request under the Texas Public Information Act rather than the Freedom of Information Act.
