Initially reported by a passerby as an oil rig fire due to the thick black smoke billowing into the sky, the true nature of the incident was quickly uncovered upon arrival.
Emergency services were dispatched after receiving calls about what appeared to be an oil rig engulfed in flames. However, upon deploying a drone for aerial assessment, firefighters identified the source as a sprawling wildfire consuming dry vegetation across the ranch.
