Man Dies from Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
Police Investigating Possible Suicide
A 50-year-old man named Jesús Omar Pérez was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head at his home located on Meadow Point Drive in Eagle Pass, Texas. Police believe that Pérez shot himself in the head.
Police Chief Federico Garza said that Pérez had been an employee of the local water company for around 20 years. He said that the results of the autopsy are still pending and more statements from family members need to be collected, but there are indications that the case may be a possible suicide.

Garza said that there is a person who was aware of the death when it occurred, but he declined to identify that person. He said that the reason why Pérez may have taken his own life is still being established and will be based on what his family members say.
