Project Tango is a business expansion initiative by a local business that offers incentives not only to external firms but also to existing businesses intending to grow their operations in Eagle Pass. Companies interested in availing these incentives need to invest at least $3 million. The City of Eagle Pass and the County of Maverick have collaborated to promote and streamline business activities, diversify the tax base, attract new high-quality jobs, retain local industries, and enhance the existing workforce.

“The collaboration established by both entities will reinforce our efforts to recruit new businesses and support local businesses’ growth,” said City of Eagle Pass Mayor, Rolando Salinas Jr. “The incentives provided have played a vital role in our recruitment endeavors.”
